We are Guideress:
The people behind the itineraries
Erin, the expert Guideress, is an American who has been living in London for five years. An insatiable explorer, she is usually the first point of call for friends looking for new bars and restaurants or fun weekend ideas. People are still talking about the vodka cruise she booked on Regent’s Canal and the ridiculous amount of meat consumed at Ribstock.
Erin created Guideress after spending countless hours trying to plan weekend escapes and asking, "why isn’t there someone who will just tell me all of the best places to go so I can spend this time practicing my ukulele?" She figured other people were asking the same question, albeit without the urge to learn the uke, and decided to help people see unique aspects of London as easily as possible.
Alan has a BA in History and can provide an interesting depth to itineraries we create for people who are more interested in what London once was than what it is now.
Although he was born in London, Alan has lived in so many places that he pauses before answering the question, "where are you from?" Now back in his original hometown, he loves sharing its quirks with the city’s visitors.
